Sand Restaurant, designed by Design By Mahsa, is set in a contemporary refined dining space, serving delights that bring out the authentic taste of Middle Eastern cuisine. From starters to mains, dough to barbeque, the ambiance is set to tantalize the taste buds of patrons who appreciate the food and culture of the region. To depict the natural aura in Sand restaurant, inspiration is taken from the lifestyle and landscape of the region such as Kazakhstan’s Charyn.
Canyon and the silk road yurt camps – which particularly represents the unique cultural identity of the people. The concept of design for its interior is inspired tradition, flavours, climate, landscape, art and culture of the people. The 225-seat capacity dining space uses colours, décor and material which welcomes friends and family to a chic and modern setting. There is also an open kitchen where patrons can see their delicacies being prepared – and those unforgettable sights are emboldened by the handmade terracotta tiles used in the finishing of the space.
Together, the elements of design, beautifully intertwined with Middle Eastern culture set the stage for a space which is complete in aesthetics, functionality and a natural ambience; ready to savour authentic traditional cuisine.
